The Role

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care has an exciting opportunity for an Audiologist to join the Hearing Professional Services & Training Department of a reputable and growing business.

The successful candidate will support the Professional Services & Training team in delivering and maintaining hearing training for new hearing clinicians, to ensure that they have a smooth transition into the Company. The role also involves ensuring that the clinical skills of Hearing Aid Audiologists and Hearing Care Assistants comply with all relevant legislative and professional requirements and are continuously developed and updated to deliver the commercial and clinical objectives of the company.

The successful candidate will deliver a wide variety of training, including:

  • Induction training for new professionals joining the business
  • Clinical training for entry level clinicians (Hearing Aid Audiologists and Hearing Care Assistants)
  • Continuous professional development training events
  • Commercial and product training

This is a great opportunity for an established clinician who would like to develop their skills outside of the consulting room.

The Requirements

The successful applicant will:

  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Have an interest and ideally experience in developing and delivering hearing training programmes
  • Be confident in their clinical and product knowledge
  • Be motivated, ambitious and solution based
  • Be able to travel to our central Birmingham Head Office / Training Centre daily (Monday – Friday)
