You should be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet individual patient needs
- Provide patient education, advice and ongoing support to ensure optimal use of hearing devices
- Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with professional and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advances in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuous professional development
