Job Description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are supporting a charismatic young man who is happy, sociable, and thrives in the company of others. He enjoys a range of sensory activities, colourful TV programmes, animated DVDs, and is especially entertained by silly noises and raspberry sounds that bring out his laughter. He loves getting out and about – whether it’s shopping trips or spending time outdoors – and finds comfort in calm environments, particularly when relaxing with sensory lighting at bedtime.
This role is much more than just delivering care – it’s about bringing out the best in him. He has a fantastic sense of humour, enjoys banter with family, and thrives when surrounded by people who can engage with his personality and interests. We are looking for a maternal, nurturing, and proactive female carer who can confidently take the lead in organising engaging, tailored activities that enrich his day-to-day life. Sensory play is a key part of his routine, so creativity and a genuine interest in building rapport are essential.
If our client is admitted to hospital, carers must be able to accompany him, and shifts may need to be carried out within a hospital setting.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
