Health Care Support Worker - Ophthalmology

The shift pattern is Mon-Sat day shift.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HCSW based in the Ophthalmology outpatient department of Inverclyde Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the Ophthalmology team, supporting the registered nursing team and be involved in all care needs within the outpatient and day ward setting. You will be required to work within a busy clinical areas working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team. HSCW experience is desirable not essential as full training will be given. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within changing and dynamic environment. You should have excellent communication with an eagerness to learn. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
