Our client designs hygiene contained rooms, based in Haverhill. Theyre looking to bring in a new memeber of their team to join as a Health and Safety Manager. They are currently experiencing rapid expansion, so this is a great company to progress your career within. This role will require travel to customer sites and over night stay. Travel expenses are covered, and overnight expenses are also covered in full.

Role And Responsibilities

• This is a new position to ensure H and S standards across customer sites, and implement action plans when appropriate
• Reporting directly to the Project Director, and work alongside Installation and Site Managers
• Be the vocal point for H and S, with a great understanding of H and S Procedures and legislature to guide the company
• Ensure CDM Regulations are followed
• Implement a Health and Safety framework within construction of hygeine rooms, then maintain it by ensuring compliancy
• Regular site inspections and audits : ISO45001 and ISO9001 (UK wide) : Risk assessments
• Ensure all documentation is completed and correct
• Focus on continuous Improvement
• Track and report on key H and S performance indicators
• Deliver training and toolbox talks
• Must be a personable candidate, with good people skills to build and nurture the teams as they expand
  
  

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• NEBOSH : Essential
• Experience with CDM regulations : Essential
• ISO45001 and ISO9001 experience : Essential
• Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role
• IOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety : Desirable
