Your new role
Oversee the Sustainability Team in the UK, a department dedicated to developing, establishing, and improving sustainability strategy.
Work closely with the Transformation Director, to plan, agree and execute the sustainability strategy across the UK.
Ensure the business continually works to deliver innovative solutions to meet the sustainability targets.
Become the organisation's source for sustainability market insights, best practice, potential risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
Build and create measurable reports, to ensure the company achieves internal and external goals.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate sustainability into overall business operations.
What You'll Need To Succeed
People leader - experience leading a team to achieve a common goal.
Passionate and committed to continually developing the team.
Strategic thinker - able to accurately ascertain the current state, plan for the future and navigate the sustainability journey.
Change agent - an understanding of how to foster and drive a culture of change throughout all aspects of an organisation.
Sustainability experience - experience working in the sustainability field, including environmental, social, governance, risk, and opportunity.
Influencing skills. The ability to take the business to a more sustainable place.
