Typical Activities

Build Cryptographic Devices that Protect National Missions

We’re looking for a technical Product Manager to lead a portfolio of cryptographic hardware products used by government and national security customers. Your products will deliver world leading security allied with excellent user experience whilst also being evaluated to rigorous government standards.

You’ll work with world-class cryptography experts, engineers and external evaluation authorities to deliver assured, high-performing devices that integrate into our secure mobility gateways and customer mission environments.

We prioritise cryptography and secure hardware domain experience. If you bring strong experience within these (or sufficiently related) domains and the right mindset, we’ll support you to grow as a product manager.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and business value for crypto devices.
  • Plan and drive evaluation/certification.
  • Translate mission and security needs into clear product and assurance requirements.
  • Work with project managers to align hardware, firmware, security, suppliers, and certification labs to hit approval gates.
  • Work closely with the Head of Service Products to align with broader service product strategy.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and users to gather feedback and validate product direction.
  • Track KPIs (evaluation progress, performance, reliability) and iterate with data.


What we're looking for

You’ll have a background in the development of multi-disciplinary security products such as cryptos. You’ll have had exposure to security evaluations and the artefacts they require. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy working at the intersection of technology, security, and product delivery.


You’ll be high agency and high empathy, with a strongly collaborative and facilitative approach.


We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Depth in cryptography/secure hardware development.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with customer and operational insight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Some experience with or exposure to modern technical product management principles.

Qualifications & Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must:

  • Hold a degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline, or have 10+ years equivalent professional experience; and,
  • Be a British citizen; and
  • Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC minimum / DV preferred level clearance.
