What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of the UK market, with end-to-end P&L responsibility.
- Develop and execute focused sales strategies to drive growth and competitiveness across selected market segments.
- Lead, coach, and empower the sales team to exceed targets, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, strengthening our brand and securing long-term partnerships.
- Represent ascom at trade shows and industry events, elevating our market visibility and generating new business leads.
- Align sales and operational teams with strategic objectives, using data-driven insights to monitor and improve performance.
- Deliver agreed financial targets (Incoming Orders, Net Revenue, EBITDA) and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
- Drive employee engagement and lead the Senior Leadership Team, promoting collaboration across all functions - even within a matrix structure.
- Plan and optimise go-to-market and delivery models for direct sales, channel partners, strategic partnerships, and clinical solutions.
- Proven experience as a Country Manager, Managing Director, or similar general management role with full responsibility for business outcomes.
- Broad expertise in sales, service delivery, product management, and marketing.
- Demonstrated success in senior sales roles within dynamic, high-growth organisations.
- Experience with both hardware products and software/solution sales.
- Strong financial leadership, with the ability to set KPIs, objectives, and performance measures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Inspirational leadership, coaching, and change management abilities.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- MSc/MBA/MA in business administration or a relevant field.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication.
