The Head of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key retailer relationships, implementing showroom strategy, and working within the sales team to deliver on strategic objectives. This role will play a critical part in shaping and executing the brand’s commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue
Set ambitious but achievable sales targets and ensure consistent performance against these targets.
Forecast, manage, and optimize sales budgets in line with company goals.
Budget & Financial Oversight Manage the sales department budget across showrooms, tradeshows and trunkshows
Analyze sales data and financial performance
Collaborate with finance to align sales forecasts with budgeting and inventory planning.
Retailer & Partner Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers & brands
Ensure alignment with brand positioning and distribution strategy.
Conduct regular meetings with accounts & brands to ensure mutual growth
Showroom & Market Appointments Oversee the planning and execution of showroom appointments, tradeshows, and trunkshows
Personally lead high-value client appointments and support the sales team with key accounts.
Brand & Commercial Strategy Serve as a brand ambassador in all client-facing activities, appointments, shows and trainings
Ensure that sales initiatives align with brand positioning efforts
Team Leadership & Development Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative culture.
Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
