Village Hotels is a UK-based hotel brand with 33 sites, uniquely offering mid-market hotel, fitness club, food and beverages options inc. a Starbucks coffee retail unit under one roof. Its unique concept makes it very successful, most of the time number 1 in terms of revenue in its markets / segments, and currently growing with an active pipeline to open more hotels.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director the Head of Revenue is responsible for the brand revenue and pricing strategy and framework in order to maximise the total profit delivery in the relevant revenue streams.
The Head of Revenue is responsible for having all the revenue management processes in place across all areas of each hotel and central team supporting the training and development of the central revenue team. They will cultivate a total revenue culture within the team and company through the establishment of process, training, structure and constant measurement / refinement.
The Head of Revenue is expected to harbour strong commercial relationships with the Commercial Leadership Team and Hotel General Managers ultimately responsible for helping the hotels to reach, and exceed their budgets and exceed market share.

Some Key Accountabilities
- Revenue team performance on a day-to-day basis vs agreed targets
- Revenue team operational standards and the ways of working that all the team adhere to in order to create a consistent structure with hotel teams.
- Revenue team annual KPIs and benchmarking
- Continually evolve pricing strategies and tactics to keep the business moving forward
- Identify shortfalls and propose action to mitigate
- Analyse data intakes to spot new trends, new opportunities / risks, and take relevant actions and identify these to the Commercial Leadership Team when deviating from expectations
- Carrying out accurate room forecasting and ensure the wider business and individual hotels are aware of expected performance
- Continual monitoring of competitiveness v market
- Carry out specific or projects as required
- Analytical, commercial acumen and data focused
- A strong leader of people
- Good influencing skills
- Able to take and monitor calculated risks to achieve results
- Communicates openly and clearly both orally and in writing and recognises the value of communication at different layers of the business.
- Team player with positive working attitude
- 5+ years in hotel based revenue management
- Strong system skills and willingness to evolve tech.
- Ability to travel when required
