Head of Programme Delivery

A little bit about what we are looking for...

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Programme Delivery to oversee the delivery of our planned works and retrofit programmes. Being an engaging leader who is outcome focussed and leads by example, you will drive our Programme Delivery team and contractors in providing a good quality service to residents. As a senior role with technical knowledge and experience, you will work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure we’re investing in the right areas at the right time and be focused on delivering operational performance in compliance with legislation and aligned to our organisational strategy and standards.

Your responsibilities...

• To work with the Head of Energy and Asset Data on the production of the annual 30 year business plan, providing data led asset management decisions for long, medium and short term investment strategies and investment plans to meet the strategic aims of the PA Housing Asset Management Strategy.
• To lead on the successful delivery of our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (Wave 2.1) bid and other retrofit work programmes to meet annual corporate objective targets, budgets, customer satisfaction and performance measures.
• To take the lead in ensuring the works are delivered effectively through robust contract management, supervision, quality assurance and financial controls.
• To lead on the development, review and update of PA Housing policies and procedures in consultation with stakeholders, for the areas of this post’s responsibility.
• Working with the Senior Management Team, Committees and Board as appropriate detailing investment decisions and proposals for stock rationalisation.

Our ideal candidate...

• Proven track record at a senior manager level in Asset Management, Retrofit or Decarbonisation works
• Appropriate experience and knowledge of the procurement and implementation of major works and planned programmes at a senior level.
• Appropriate experience of managing major works, planned and / or retrofit works at a senior level
• Experience of managing in a customer focused, performance driven organisation within the housing, voluntary or private sector.
• Experience of developing effective retrofit, decarbonisation and sustainability strategies in improvement measures.
