The Head of Improvement and Assurance will provide inspirational and visionary leadership to a multi-disciplinary team which is responsible for support the service to transform the relationship with our tenants and ensure good governance and compliance. Facilitating greater coordinated working to deliver a best-in-class service, the role is responsible for developing and implementing relevant policies, strategies and improvement plans working collaboratively with subject matter experts and corporate colleagues.
With extensive experience of building strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will now be looking to progress your career in a strategic leadership role in an ambitious housing service, leading a large team. Your career to date will demonstrate considerable success in delivering continuous improvement to the way we work and measuring service outcomes. With people central to this role, experience of team development and pro-active tenant engagement will be essential.
Our new housing asset management strategy, adopted this month, is a vision for social housing in Kirklees that will establish and deliver resident-led, high quality housing services with and for our local community. To develop this strategy, we worked with local residents, elected Members, partners and our colleagues, embracing the Kirklees approach of ensuring that people are at the centre of everything we do.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join us and showcase your leadership, ambition and determination to deliver excellent housing services for the community we serve. We are looking for someone who is professionally curious, a strong communicator who can engage with partners, stakeholders and tenants
