The Role
The Head of Global Facilities & Safety is responsible for developing and executing policies and plans for the office estate across multiple regions globally. This role will ensure that office facilities are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, support employee well-being and productivity, and comply with local health and safety legislation. This role will oversee facilities management, office security, office business case and lease governance, strategic projects, and stakeholder relations across the office estate globally.

The Role
The Head of Global Facilities & Safety is responsible for developing and executing policies and plans for the office estate across multiple regions globally. This role will ensure that office facilities are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, support employee well-being and productivity, and comply with local health and safety legislation. This role will oversee facilities management, office security, office business case and lease governance, strategic projects, and stakeholder relations across the office estate globally.
You Will Contribute & Make An Impact Through
- Managing global lease management governance and oversight for new office leases, contract extensions, and post-acquisition consolidation
- Owning the process of office changes/capital investment from business case creation and board approval to implementation planning and project management.
- Own and optimise the global office budget
- Develop and implement a safety framework to ensure compliance with local laws and group-wide safety and security standards
- Implement incident management protocols and risk scanning to anticipate and respond to emerging risks
- Create global health and safety standards, training and audits. Input into group Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
- Identify and oversee outsourced global security advisor.
- Work with IT and Cybersecurity teams to establish and oversee global office security protocols and ISO compliance, to safeguard employees, assets, and sensitive information.
- Advise local Country Directors and local office stakeholders. Direct and supervise office support personnel, as well as support local office project teams with timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee the design and management of office spaces in accordance with the Group design guidelines, ensuring cost control and adherence to security and safety standards.
- Ensure consistent implementation of security measures across all offices including monitoring and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Advise cross-functional teams in executing local projects related to office openings, renovations, and relocations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including ELT, P&C, Security, IT, and local office managers.
- Evaluate potential vendors, contractors, and service providers related to local office facilities and services.
- Own travel policy and travel management system to ensure employee safety, CO2 footprint and policy adherence.
- Ensure all office locations comply with local health and safety legislation and global corporate policies. Monitor changes in legislation and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
- Responsible for annual data collection from all globally offices for ESG reporting

- Deep experience and expertise in facilities management, office administration, or a related field, with experience in a global leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking, numeracy and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional project management skills with experience managing large-scale, global projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Relevant certification in Facilities and Risk Management
- Experience managing global facilities budgets.
- Experience in vendor management and running RFPs
