As the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for leading our e-commerce initiatives, managing a high-performing team, and aligning our digital strategy with overall business goals. You will oversee all aspects of our online platform, from sales growth and marketing campaigns to customer journey optimization and regulatory compliance.

AXA Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of E-Commerce to spearhead our online sales strategy and elevate our e-commerce platform in the UK and Ireland. As the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for leading our e-commerce initiatives, managing a high-performing team, and aligning our digital strategy with overall business goals. You will oversee all aspects of our online platform, from sales growth and marketing campaigns to customer journey optimization and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives to maximize revenue and growth
- Oversee daily operations ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience
- Manage the P&L for the e-commerce channel, including business case development and resource allocation
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for expansion
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and product teams to enhance website functionality and user experience
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email, and social media campaigns, to increase traffic and conversions
- Use data analytics to monitor performance, generate insights, and support decision-making
- Build and develop a high-performing, innovative team through coaching, training, and performance management
- Establish strategic partnerships with third-party vendors to improve capabilities
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to maintain competitive advantage
- Ensure compliance with UK & Ireland regulatory standards and adhere to Consumer Duty principles.
- Minimum of 7 years in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or related fields
- Proven success in growing online sales and achieving revenue targets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Leadership experience in building and motivating diverse teams
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and customer journey optimization
- Knowledge of UK & Ireland regulatory environment
- Ability to foster collaboration across departments and external partners
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities
- Resilient, adaptable, and capable of navigating complex challenges.
