Who We Are Looking For

As the Head of Data Science and Analytics, you will hold a key role within our organization, focusing on enhancing our decisioning solutions and delivering ML models and capabilities for our customers. You will be responsible for the shaping the R&D approach and activities undertaken by our Data Science team and how they work with internal stakeholders and customers to drive business value and operational excellence. Collaborating closely with our Engineering, Product and Professional Services you’ll scale our data science initiatives and building advanced analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global data science function, focusing on risk, data, credit and fraud.
  • Build and mentor a team of Data Scientists to drive product innovation and deliver ML solutions and models through direct customer projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product managers, and engineers to contribute to data analytics requirements and solutions.
  • Evaluate and select advanced analytics and big data technologies that enhance decisioning capabilities.
  • Identify architectural risks in data systems and work with technology teams to mitigate them.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to professional services, consultants, data engineers and developers.
  • Represent the organization’s data science strategy during client meetings and in sales presentations.

What You Bring:

Education: Graduate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience: 7+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a track record of leading data analytics teams, preferably in a fintech or credit risk environment.


  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and AI techniques used in fraud detection and credit risk analysis.
  • Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) for large-scale data processing and model deployment.
  • Strong domain expertise in credit scoring models, fraud prevention strategies, and risk assessment in financial services.
  • Knowledge of LLM, GenAI, and Prompt Engineering a strong plus
  • Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of data science projects, from concept to production deployment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing data science teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Ability to create a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization, ensuring alignment between business goals and data science efforts.
  • Proven experience in attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier data science talent.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in AI, ML, and data science as they relate to financial services.
