I am currently looking to speak with an experienced business development manager who will take the role of Head of Business Development in Aberdeen to help support clients in strengthening their energy sector resilience through projects such as alternative energy

Market-leading advisory company focused on providing technical and advisory services to the global energy industry.


Salary:

£95,000 - £120,000 + Car Allowance + 20% Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Report to the Director and collaborate with the business-winning team to execute the business-winning plan.
  • Supported by sector-embedded SMEs who can contribute to work winning activities part-time.
  • Lead pre-sales, bid pursuits, and tender responses for Energy Resilience.
  • Motivate and guide the bid organization to create high-quality, differentiated, and commercially compelling bid submissions for clients.
  • Develop and own the client value proposition and win themes, working with the team to articulate these in written responses.
  • Contribute written inputs and content to proposal responses.
  • Serve acknowledged expert in the Energy Resilience sector.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, strategic partners, and industry groups.
  • Represent at government, sector, and industry networking events.
  • Qualifications:Degree in relevant discipline
  • APM membership
  • Extensive experience in account management and customer relationship management, leveraging existing relationships to enhance client interactions.
  • Experience in proactively engaging customers to foster long-term relationships and drive ongoing value.
