What you’ll be doing:
- Driving the end-to-end bid process for complex, high-value projects.
- Implementing and refining the “Win the Business” process to improve efficiency and success rates.
- Coordinating inputs from technical, commercial, and operational teams to create compelling proposals.
- Managing RFQs, RFPs, and tendering processes in regulated environments.
- Building a high-performing team and fostering collaboration across functions.
- Tracking performance metrics and ensuring governance and compliance.
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and strengthen relationships.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll bring proven expertise in bid management and strategic thinking, with strong commercial and technical acumen.
- Proven accomplishment in procurement and bidding roles.
- Demonstrable success delivering complex bids in regulated engineering industries (nuclear, aerospace, defence, rail, oil & gas, manufacturing etc).
- Skilled in preparing cost solutions and managing multi-functional inputs.
- Experience with RFQs, RFPs, and tendering processes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel to site in Bridgnorth, Shropshire on a regular basis.
What you’ll get:
We’ll provide you with a supportive and engaging environment where you can grow your skills and further your career. In addition, you’ll get:
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase more.
- Westfield Health Insurance.
- Discounted Gym membership.
- Company pension.
