About The Role

Behind the scenes, our Finance team makes sure the business runs as smoothly and efficiently as our tech on match day.
We’re looking for a Head of Accounting & Reporting to lead our Accounting & Reporting team and act as a trusted advisor to the business. This role will combine leadership, business partnering, and technical expertise to ensure accurate and timely reporting, deliver operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across Hawk-Eye’s finance processes.
You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across Hawk-Eye and Sony, oversee accounting operations and statutory reporting, and play a key role in enabling our continued growth on a global stage.

We’re looking for a Head of Accounting & Reporting to lead our Accounting & Reporting team and act as a trusted advisor to the business. This role will combine leadership, business partnering, and technical expertise to ensure accurate and timely reporting, deliver operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across Hawk-Eye’s finance processes.
You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across Hawk-Eye and Sony, oversee accounting operations and statutory reporting, and play a key role in enabling our continued growth on a global stage.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & inspire: Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, instilling a growth mindset and a focus on delivering real business impact.
- Partner with the business: Provide clear insights and actionable reporting to senior management and department leads, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Own reporting: Oversee accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards (IFRS) and corporate requirements.
- Run efficient operations: Manage end-to-end accounting processes (including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and fixed assets), working with our global finance platform and outsourcing partners.
- Drive change: Champion automation, continuous improvement and best practice across finance, ensuring we’re always evolving in line with Hawk-Eye’s ambitions.
- Support growth: Play a key role in M&A activities, integration projects and new system implementations, ensuring financial compliance and effective controls.
- Professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting.
- Significant experience in Finance & Accounting leadership (10+ years, with 5+ in management).
- Proven ability to influence, advise and partner with senior stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering insights that support business growth.
- Experienced in driving transformation and implementing scalable, automated finance processes.
- Confident leading global teams and working in a multinational, matrix organisation.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using SAP, Power BI and other finance systems.
- Work with some of the biggest sports and media organisations in the world.
