About the Role:

As Sous or Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team to create high-quality meals tailored to the dietary and nutritional needs of our residents. From hearty breakfasts to special occasion menus, you’ll bring creativity, care, and professionalism to every plate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare delicious, nutritious, and varied meals that meet residents' preferences and dietary requirements.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with care staff to accommodate individual dietary needs.
  
  

About You:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about food and creating meaningful dining experiences. You should have:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef, ideally in a care setting or similar environment but not a neccesity.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and nutritional requirements, particularly for older adults.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 desirable) and awareness of HACCP procedures.
