Your role will involve preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and working closely with our dedicated staff to enhance our menu offerings. Tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene are maintained at all times. Duties include, but are not limited to:



  1. Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and menus.

  2. Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service.

  3. Assisting in the planning and development of seasonal menus and daily specials.

  4. Monitoring portion sizes, food costs, and waste control to ensure profitability.

  5. Ensuring compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety standards (HACCP).

  6. Managing stock rotation, ordering, and storage of ingredients.

  7. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas.

  8. Training and supporting junior kitchen staff as required.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ full-time professional experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.

  • Qualification at or above RQF Level 3 (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent).

  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
