We are looking for a Gas Turbine Strategic Procurement Manager in Warwick!
In this position you are responsible for leading the procurement team, processes and driving our KPI’s. In addition to leading the team, it is also expected that you have a proactive and hands-on approach where you actively collaborate with other departments and functions to deliver on targets.
You will have a key role in an international purchasing environment where the focus is on growth in our business area, which is power generation products. Our customers are large national and international players, where we supply parts for a wide range of different products for New Unit and aftermarket.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-Emission Power Generation through Service and Decarbonisation. In our Business Unit we help our customers achieve higher reliability and optimal performance of their rotating power equipment. This role sits within our Distributed Procurement function, leading supply chain excellence for aero-derivative gas turbine components.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and develop a distributed team of +10 Strategic Procurement Specialists to achieve Procurement and BU business plan objectives.
- Ensure continuous development and implementation of purchasing and other work processes.
- Ensure that negotiations and procurement are carried out expertly with regards to commercial, legal and ethical aspects and in accordance with company instructions, rules and regulations.
- Support the team to plan negotiations, define awarding strategies, and prepare sourcing board approvals while ensuring alignment with pooling opportunities.
- Support the team to negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Ensure contractual terms are aligned with business needs by collaborating with strategic commodity management teams.
- Lead cost out program for aeroderivative gas turbine product line.
- Lead minor and major contract negotiations and risk management towards suppliers to ensure the desired results are achieved according to Siemens Energy methodology.
- Ensure a close partnership with internal customers to have a good customer care and early involvement
- Experience as a strategic Manager or Team Lead within Procurement, Commodity Management, Supply Chain or similar area.
- At least 10 years of working experience within procurement or other relevant functions, preferably from the Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas industry or other similar industry.
- Experience in managing direct reports, performance reviews and recruitment.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and project management competence.
- You are well-structured, strive to reach set goals and see the results.
- A systematic approach and attention to detail along with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong SAP experience and outstanding Excel skills.
- Have a good understanding of manufacturing cost-structures and market indices.
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably within a technical field or economics/supply chain.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral.
