What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for the operational management of group bookings, from initial contact to post-stay. This involves:
- Group Management: Handling all aspects of group bookings, including contracts, rooming lists, and guest communications.
- Revenue Optimisation: Maximising room revenue through effective inventory management and client relationship building.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborating with hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Administrative Tasks: Managing group-related paperwork, invoicing, and commission requests.
As a Groups & Meeting Planner, your key responsibilities include:
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently managing group bookings and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Relationship Building: Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate records and producing detailed reports.
- Problem Solving: Addressing challenges proactively and finding solutions.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Detail-oriented: With a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Opera Express and Opera Sales & Catering.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel environment, preferably in group or reservations.
