Essential Skills

We are seeking an experienced and skilled groundworker to join our team in Ayr for a project involving a variety of groundworks tasks. We prioritise strong practical skills and a proven track record in the following areas:

• Kerbing and Slabbing: Experienced in laying kerbs, flags, and other hard landscaping elements.
• Hard Landscaping: Knowledge and experience in creating patios, pathways, and other outdoor features.
• Ground Preparation: Skilled in site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and compacting.
• Plotworks: Expertise in the construction and layout of plots for new developments.
• Drainage: Experience in installing drainage systems, including pipes, channels, and soakaways.
• Ducting: Competent in laying and installing various types of ducting systems.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating the above skills.
• Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent work ethic, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Driving licence is preferred.
