Graduate Structural Engineer – Residential Projects - Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience and learn from our senior engineer while contributing to exciting customer projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support our structural engineering team in delivering home lift installations for our customer homes, including:
- Assisting with structural design, analysis, and delivery of residential projects.
- Preparing structural calculations and drawings tailored to home lift installations.
- Using software such as AutoCAD and Tedds to develop designs.
- Supporting senior engineers on projects involving steel, timber, and masonry structures.
- Occasionally attending site visits to assist with surveys, inspections, and lift installations.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders under supervision.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and contributing to reports.

We want someone eager to learn, enthusiastic, and ready to develop their career. Key skills and qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Post-graduation experience in a structural engineering role within the UK (including placements or internships), required due to the need for detailed knowledge of UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and BS codes.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and Eurocodes/BS codes.
- Proficiency in structural design software and CAD tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- A full UK driving licence (or equivalent), as the role involves occasional travel to customer homes.
