Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Warrington office.

You would be joining our Landscape team, with a workload encompassing a wide variety of project types and scales, but primarily focussed on Water industry projects. We are currently inputting to a number of exciting and innovative schemes throughout the UK and Ireland, including on several flagship projects of national importance, design of key wetland areas and other habitat improvements, as well as SuDs and stormwater interventions to benefit individual communities. We are particularly excited by two SuDS schemes located in urban contexts we are currently working on, requiring a considered multi-disciplinary approach involving a number of other Stantec teams.

We are market leaders within the water industry, and a Registered Practice with the Landscape Institute.

Role

Day to day, you’ll be working to assist the senior members of the Landscape team, and generally within multidisciplinary Stantec teams, on a variety of tasks. The role will include:

  • Developing and preparing drawings for planning, tender and construction purposes;
  • Attending and assisting in preparation for internal and external meetings;
  • Developing and preparing sketch work and illustrative materials.
  • Drafting of reports, including LVIAs;
  • Researching project briefs, precedents, case studies, materials and construction products; and
  • Landscape fieldwork and surveys.
