GP Maternity Locum

We require cover for four to six sessions per week with an expectation to commence on 2 December 2024 to 26 June 2025.
Ideally, the sessions would cover the current working days of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday however, we could tailor the sessions to suit if necessary.
We are a friendly and well-established team based in Dunfermline, with a practice population of approx. 8800, supported by 5 GP partners, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses.
Our multi-disciplinary teams consists of NHS 2 CTAC Nurses, Health Care Support Worker, Community District Nurses, Community Pharmacists who deal with all aspects of prescribing including medicine reconciliation after hospital discharge, First Contact Physiotherapy Practitioner, Midwife, Dermatology Nurse, Dietician and a team of highly experienced admin staff.
We are an EMIS practice with varied sessions of face-to-face and telephone consultations. No more than 25 consultations each day. House calls are share equally amongst the GPs along with admin workload signing prescriptions, share of docman (we have workflow optimisation in place to support the gps).
The clinical team work very well together with regular catch-ups throughout the day ensuring time to discuss patients and to support each other.
We are a teaching practice for St Andrews Medical School (Year 2), students who join us during the university term.
