This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Job Purpose: 

We have a requirement for a Goods In Operative who has Very Narrow Aisle Forklift Truck experience. To cover other FLT drivers using an VNA truck along with ensuring all incoming stock is accurately received and checked, correct information recorded and its safe transportation to the relevant area. Processing orders ready to be put to the picking locations.

Very Narrow Aisle FLT Driver/Goods In Operative

Location: LS11 0LR

Days of week: Monday - Friday

Rate Of Pay: £12.50 per hour + weekly FLT allowance

Working hours 1400 to 2200 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities: 

Accounting for all incoming stock, ensuring the following procedures are applied.

• Achieving the agreed productivity level.
• Accounting for all incoming stock, ensuring the following procedures are applied.
• Out of stocks lists are checked and items prioritised on receipt.
• Checking product description and pack size is correct.
• Checking product for damage and expiry date.
• Counting product and accurately recording on paperwork.
• Putting stock away in the correct pick location
• Storing excess stock in reserve locations (using the FLT when required)
• Replenishing stock from reserves and overstock locations
• Ensuring housekeeping standards for inside and outside bays are always maintained.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met
  
  

Essential Requirements

What we are looking for.

Previous Forklift Truck experience

High Visual Accuracy

Good verbal communication skills

Basic written communication skills

Basic Numeracy and Literacy

Customer care

 

Desirable

Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.

Manual Handling

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
