We are always looking for exceptional talent to join our inspiring multinational business and right now we are seeking to recruit a strategic and creative Global Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team.


As the Global Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that align with our brand goals and resonate with our diverse audience worldwide. You will be the driving force behind our social media presence, ensuring consistency, creativity, and effectiveness across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


Global Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our marketing and business objectives, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all major platforms.


Platform Management: Oversee and manage all corporate social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms), ensuring consistent and engaging content is shared.


Content Creation: Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling, culturally relevant content, including visuals, videos, and written posts, tailored to diverse international audiences.


Community Building: Actively engage with our social media community, fostering positive interactions and building brand advocacy through regular participation in conversations and responding to feedback.


Social Listening: Monitor social media channels for industry trends, brand mentions, and competitor activities, utilizing insights to inform strategy and adapt content accordingly.


Global Campaigns: Plan and execute global social media campaigns that ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across regions, leveraging analytics to optimise campaigns and demonstrate a positive return on investment (ROI).


Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously explore new platforms, trends, and emerging technologies to keep Megger’s social media presence at the forefront of digital innovation.


Experience, Skills & Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in a global context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidence in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.


This role requires a combination of creative thinking, strategic oversight, and cross-cultural understanding to engage with our global audience and drive brand awareness.
