We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve a City & Regional Planning, Town Planning or Geography degree – that’s it!... no prior experience needed.

Key skills / attributes that we’d be looking for from the successful candidate are:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Town Planning processes
  • Excellent written communication skills

Your Graduate scheme

The purpose of the overall enabling team is identifying scheme/project risks within the Capital programme and try to proactively mitigate those risks. This role will see you dealing with planning applications/queries, working with local authorities, Natural Resources Wales and other consenting bodies.

Good to know

Your graduate scheme will primarily be based South-East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.

Recruitment process - We are running our adverts until December 8th. Should your application meet our criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete. The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, which likely take place at our head office (Cardiff) between February/March 2025. Further information will be provided closer to the time. We are looking for a CV and cover letter that shows off how you will make a difference and add value.
