A passionate and experienced General Manager to lead the operational and commercial success of Riverside East. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record in delivering multi-faceted events and driving profitability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

General Manager– The role

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all aspects of the venue, ensuring smooth service delivery and exceptional guest experience.
  • As an event-led venue, lead the planning and execution of a diverse range of events including corporate functions, public entertainment, and food-led experiences ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning, cost control, and innovative programming.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Build strong relationships with park partners, suppliers, and neighbouring attractions to enhance the venue’s profile and offerings.
  • Ensure all operations meet legal and safety standards, including management of the license, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven multi-year experience managing a multi-faceted hospitality or a face paced, dynamic events venue.
  • Strong operational background with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and driving profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Creative and adaptable, with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Experience in delivering food-led events and overseeing complex catering operations.
  • Familiarity with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and its surrounding attractions is a plus.
