The Vacancy

Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for a General Maintainer to join the team based in Inverness, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and assist with planned and reactive maintenance repair works (monthly emergency light tests and weekly fuel bunds inspections plus other delegated tasks within skillset)
  • Painting and decorating tasks
  • Act as the safety person for other trades while working at height
  • Make sure that works are progressed in line with RIFM and Client procedures, with regard to on-site health and safety and comply with current regulations.
  • Represent the company at site level and promote the company’s services.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Awareness of health & safety regulations
  • Full, clean and current driving licence
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on own initiative and liaise effectively with clients
  • Must be able to pass security clearance
