What you’ll do at Elekta
The Marketing Communications Intern will support the Global Marketing Communications team in developing and executing integrated marketing communication plans. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing communications, including PR, digital marketing, social media, and events. The intern will work closely with the Marketing Communications Specialist and Manager to assist in day-to-day activities and contribute to ongoing projects.

What you’ll do at Elekta
The Marketing Communications Intern will support the Global Marketing Communications team in developing and executing integrated marketing communication plans. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing communications, including PR, digital marketing, social media, and events. The intern will work closely with the Marketing Communications Specialist and Manager to assist in day-to-day activities and contribute to ongoing projects.
Your role will include (but not limited to):
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing communications plans under supervision.
- Support the team in maintaining brand consistency across various marketing materials.
- Help coordinate internal requests and liaise with different stakeholders under guidance.
- Contribute to content creation for multiple channels, including social media, blog posts, and presentations.
- Assist in organizing and managing marketing events and campaigns.
- Help with basic market research and data collection to support marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the company's social media presence.
- Assist in proofreading and editing marketing materials.
- Support the team in tracking and reporting on marketing metrics.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in marketing communications and brand management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of various marketing channels, especially digital and social media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset and willingness to contribute ideas.
- Basic organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
