Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking an Freight BI & CRM Analyst to join our team here in Woking on a Permanent basis.
This is an opportunity to work as part of the Freight Sales team helping to bring tools and methodologies that will improve the ability of Fright leadership and team, to generate more sales revenues and new opportunities; through the improved use of existing data and the design of bespoke reporting. This role will need to deliver excellent communication skills through all channels, have excellent data analytics and reporting skills and help make P&O Ferries easy to do business.
The successful candidate will have a proven record in data analytics and advanced excel and BI skills, as well as an ability to understand themes, trends and stories from data, to add the ‘why’ to the detail. The successful candidate will work well within a team, and be proactive with working with stakeholders, particularly in Performance Management, Finance and Fright Sales, to ensure pro activity, accuracy and opportunity maximisation. The role is based our Woking office, 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Analyse current BI process'
- Identify sales KPIs, presenting opportunities to relevant stakeholders with data and reason to back this up
- Identify new initiatives to improve the performance of freight sales through better management of data or new BI initiatives
- Undertake industry and available technology analysis as appropriate.
- Manage the account portfolio particularly the repartition between the sales managers via Salesforce
- Design and implement meaningly sales KPI's (leverage helping from technical expert internally or externally)
- Review Sales Targets and Commission plans by setting and reviewing targets regularly based on volume and turn over and facilitating work on data and KPIs relevant to the commission scheme (coordination between Freight Sales, Finance and HR)
- Nurture customer growth through regular communication and proactive customer service.
- Support the sales process and activities of the Freight Sales business plan.
- Develop product knowledge and adapt skills as required.
- Identify business benefits to result from process changes and how they will be measured
- Facilitate communication between project and business stakeholders
- Liaise with relevant departments and handover all activities as appropriate, focussing only on your own departmental remit.
- Generate ideas and suggestions to help grow and develop offering and achieve best practice.
- Have the ability to work unsupervised and promote a High Performance Culture within the workplace.
- Have demonstratable experience in BI & CRM for a B2B company
- Act as a commercial SME for Freight data, working with relevant teams to achieve one version of meaningful, accurate and understood data
- Experience of CRM and BI platforms
- Be a self-starter and able to work successfully on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build relationships
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Good command of English, both written and verbal
- Be able to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have full working knowledge of MS Applications
- Have the ability to multi task
- Have the ability to work within pressurised environment, to KPIs
- Customer focused with the ability to empathise
- Around 5+ years experience in BI & CRM
- Experience in Transport and Logistics
- Relevant qualifications around data and BI are advantageous
