Role Description
Megahertz are seeking to expand our network of contracted broadcast engineers and system architects for work at multiple sites.
We are seeking a diverse team of individuals to oversee engineering designs and workflows, as well as integrate and manage the on-site and factory installation of various broadcast systems.
The work includes overseeing the engineering design elements of several projects. The qualified candidate will develop design concepts, produce design drawings and provide engineering site presence as required by the project.
Working closely with our Project Manager, this position will address client needs and information, providing technical guidance and consulting to clients and co-workers.

We are seeking a diverse team of individuals to oversee engineering designs and workflows, as well as integrate and manage the on-site and factory installation of various broadcast systems.
The work includes overseeing the engineering design elements of several projects. The qualified candidate will develop design concepts, produce design drawings and provide engineering site presence as required by the project.
Working closely with our Project Manager, this position will address client needs and information, providing technical guidance and consulting to clients and co-workers.
- Qualify equipment lists and track any variations throughout the project.
- Liaise with the PM, finance controller, procurement, and supervisors as necessary to optimise the scheduling of project materials, minimising non-required inventory and ensuring timely stage payment billings are issued according to the contract.
- System design utilising AutoCAD, Excel, and other platforms.
- Liaise with subcontractors, including coachbuilding and installation teams, so that all parties understand the scope of work and delivery dates.
- Liaise with customers, agents, and third-party suppliers as required to clarify and resolve queries.
- Ensure that regular project status reports and formal minutes of customer meetings are communicated.
- Conduct system testing and customer acceptance testing, and achieve customer sign-off.

Qualifications
- Broadcast Engineering and Broadcast Television design experience
- CAD and Excel skills.
- Experience in troubleshooting technical issues
- Digital Asset Management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site at locations throughout the world
- Preferably a formal qualification in Broadcast Engineering, IT, or a related field
