Position Overview
The Forklift Truck will ensure production does not stop by transporting production materials, substances, packaging, finished and semi-finished products in relation to production needs and in accordance with manufacturing specifications.

Position Overview
The Forklift Truck will ensure production does not stop by transporting production materials, substances, packaging, finished and semi-finished products in relation to production needs and in accordance with manufacturing specifications.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensure production does not stop by transporting production materials, substances, packaging, finished and semi-finished products in relation to production needs and in accordance with manufacturing specifications
- Make sure that the handling vehicle supplied is in perfect working condition at all times, verifying, with the established frequency, the safe condition of the vehicle and filling in the appropriate paperwork
- Carry out all the handling of materials and products in compliance with the times, storage locations, the needs of the production lines and the needs of the Operators requesting the material.
- Operate, power and supervise the machines and equipment in the area of competence in perfect conditions of use and operation
- Participate in cleaning, general maintenance
- Maintain efficiently all the instrumentation necessary for carrying out measurements, tests and controls and report any anomalies and failures
- To help maintain compliance with the FSSC22000 Standard. Observe the regulations on Occupational Safety, Hygiene, Environment and HACCP. Observe the Worker Code of Conduct
- Perform operations that refer to assigned tasks to enable the smooth operation of production lines
- Carry out the assigned checks as per the control plan required by the quality system
- Complete an effective handover to the next Crew, at the end of their shift, to allow the smooth continuation of the production process
- Fork truck license is essential - B1 reach & counterbalance, and double handler attachment
- Previous experience in high speed production and manufacturing
- Base salary – starting salary is £32,500 per annum
- This role involves shift work – 12 hour shifts, working days, nights and weekends (2 weeks day shift, 2 weeks night shift)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- English language skills – written, verbal and reading are essential as communication skills are essential
