We're seeking a Football Correspondent who can deliver top-tier tactical football analysis that’s engaging, accessible, and insightful. You'll use visuals, data, and expert commentary to bring key football stories to life across all BBC Sport platforms.

- Play an integral role in enhancing our coverage of transfers and managerial shifts.
- Use social media to reach and engage new audiences.
- Mentor junior journalists and foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Champion diversity in our coverage and ensure content reflects our wide-ranging audience.
- Can clearly explain complex tactical ideas with simplicity and visual storytelling.
- Delivers quick-turnaround analysis tailored for multiple platforms.
- Builds relationships with key figures in football to enrich storytelling.
- Has a strong desire to innovate and experiment with new formats.
- Produces tactical insight that educates without alienating fans.
- Commands respect for their football knowledge—especially from those within the game.
- Extensive experience and a record of producing high profile journalism
- Coding skills is desirable and would be beneficial
