We’re looking for a Food Safety & Quality Administrator to join the Food Safety & Quality team based at Carnaby, near Bridlington.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrive role and comfortable working in a fast paced environment on your own initiative, as well as part of the team. You would be able to work to timescales to meet deadlines. Be willing to learn, and provide the necessary support to the department.

While basic knowledge regarding Food Safety and Quality would be ideal, experience is not essential. The duties include implementation of procedures and controls to ensure the safety and legality of all products.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of all quality; documentation, procedures, testing and control of the manufacturing process
• Carrying out task such as Micro sampling, PH/ temperature testing and reporting
• Document control
• Assisting in compiling information for customer audits
• Helping to promote Food Safety Culture on site
• Administrative duties, filing, photopcopying etc
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in the food safety industry is desirable but not essential, as with support of the FSQ team, the successful candidate can be mentored to carry out the role on a daily basis independently.
• GSCE Maths and English
• Previous administrative experience is essential
• Must have IT skills and familiarity with MS Office Applications such as Outlook and Word
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced enviroment
• A basic understanding of food manufacturing.
• Organised and able to prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Must have the ability to work on their own initiative, whilst working as part of a team
