IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.

These are permanent, year-round contracts with an expectation that you are available to work during the summer holidays and over the full year. These contracts are 24 hours a week and 12 hours a week, and you'll work in a close-knit and motivated team passionate about co-creating the wonderful everyday.

WHAT WE OFFER
• Start date of employment will be 22 and 23 November 2025.
• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Availability to work 24 hours a week, which will include 3 in 4 weekends, and shifts across various times including closes/evenings. We also have a 12 hour contract working 3 in 4 weekends, with availability to work some evenings during the week.
• These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.

Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room.
• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
• You will be communicating directly with customers, ensuring they receive an efficient, friendly and warm dining experience.
