  • Overseeing the efficient delivery of overhaul, modification, and upgrade projects while driving business improvement through KPI development and performance monitoring.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as the first point of contact for operational issues, and supporting customer objectives through collaboration.
  • Managing financial and commercial aspects, including budgeting, contract compliance, and supplier performance, to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Ensuring fleet compliance with all maintenance documentation, regulations, and Siemens policies while driving reliability and performance improvements.
  • Overseeing depot assets, facilities, and equipment to ensure they meet operational and contractual requirements.
  • Leading and developing a high-performance team, fostering employee engagement, and supporting career growth through Siemens' management and leadership frameworks.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements to optimise productivity and efficiency.
  • Supporting compliance with Siemens' internal control procedures, policies, and external regulations, ensuring adherence to governance and reporting standards.

Your success will be grounded by …

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong contract and commercial experience.
  • Experience in managing budgets effectively.
  • Ability to negotiate with workplace representatives.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and principles.

It would also be helpful to have the following:

  • Experience in fleet introduction.
  • Previous experience of managing P&L.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of industry maintenance best practices.
  • Awareness of material planning, inventory control, and warehouse management.
