Financial Planner

AC Wealth is looking for an experienced Financial Planner to join our team at our Inverurie office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, independent financial advice of the highest standard to our clients in a professional and compliant manner.

This will be achieved by keeping a high standard of technical knowledge, working within the regulatory framework and acting in line with the firm’s values to deliver good outcomes for our clients.

• Provide a comprehensive financial planning service to clients
• Support clients to meet their financial goals
• Evidencing and adding value to the clients’ financial plans
• Manage an established bank of clients
• Maintain client files and data to a high standard within the regulatory and legislative remits
• Conducting thorough annual reviews, confirming suitability and actions to support client objectives
• Advising on new and current products, plans, and investment strategies
• Generate new clients through managing external and internal leads, referrals and business development
• Act as an ambassador for the firm
• Work collaboratively with paraplanning and financial administrator employees to provide an effective and valuable service to our clients

Essential:

• The requisite technical knowledge and qualifications
• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
• Experience in a previous role as a Financial Planner

Desirable:

• Chartered or working towards Chartered Financial Planner status

Essential:

• Experience of working within the financial planning profession
• The ability to work within a team to provide a high standard of client service delivery
• Up-to-date technical knowledge on all areas of holistic financial planning, such as pensions, tax planning, estate planning and mainstream & esoteric investments
• The initiative to successfully manage and build upon an existing client bank
• A commitment to study towards and achieve Chartered Status with the CII
