The Financial Controller is Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.
As a Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing n and analyzing financial statements and disclosures based on actual results
- Consolidating, analyzing and reporting on financials in compliance with reporting regulations.
- Conducting regular redesigns of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs.
- Performing Balance Sheet Reviews for UK entities, ensuring explanation of variances and significant balances.
- Providing oversight on Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements and conducting external and Internal audits within SSPS UK entities.
- Managing interactions with accounting shared service organisations including account reconciliation, closing processes, general ledger & financial system maintenance, and accounting compliance.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess an Degree in finance from an accredited University
- Have proven experience of working in an accounting role in an engineering or manufacturing business
