We are seeking a proficient Financial Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets in our Business Services department. Based in Camberley, the successful candidate will be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.

Description

  • Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits on financial procedures and data.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Develop and maintain financial statements.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Enhance financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups.

Profile

A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have

  • A thorough understanding of accounting procedures and principles.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of £32,000 to £35,000 per annum, plus a potential £3,000 bonus.
