The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Associate to join Wonder Studios on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our Finance & Operations Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping us build the operational backbone of a fast-growing AI-driven film studio.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to make a high impact by taking ownership of critical admin and operational tasks.

What You’ll Work On

Finance & Operations Support

  • Assist with managing expense management, invoicing, and financial documentation.
  • Help prepare and maintain reports and data room materials.
  • Build and maintain financial models (budgeting, scenario planning, cash flow tracking).
  • Help maintain compliance and statutory documentation.

Systems & Tools

  • Help manage and optimise our core tools: Rippling, Notion, Google Workspace, and Deel.
  • Build and maintain efficient workflows for HR, onboarding, and file organisation.
  • Keep shared drives and knowledge bases well-structured and up to date.

Admin & Coordination

  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and partners.
  • Draft presentations, reports, and communications for internal and external use.

Who You Are

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in finance, operations, or a related field (startup or fast-paced environment preferred).
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
  • Proactive self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems.
  • Strong financial literacy with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, scenario modelling).
  • Familiar with Rippling, Notion, Xero, Apron, Asana, Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communicator in written and spoken English.
