Calling Finance Officers to Assist our Schools in Blackpool
A set of our Flourishing Schools which are in the heart of Blackpool Community are excitedly looking for motivated Finance Officers with extensive experience using FMS for accurate financial tracking and reporting. Experience in payroll management, including processing staff salaries, taxes, and pensions, is essential.

Based in: Blackpool, UK
Salary: 13 to 14GBP per hour, based on experience

- Manage the schools accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly reports.
- Process and review invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Assist with end:of:year financial procedures and annual audits.
- Support senior leaders in financial planning, decision:making, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions, including income and expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation and reporting standards.
- Skilled in using Financial Management Systems (e.g., SIMS, Sage) for accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Ability to prepare and manage school budgets aligned with educational goals.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and managing school finances.
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
