An exciting opportunity is available for a Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join an established education establishment in the Beverley area.
With a competitive salary available, membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme, 40 days annual leave, discount to the on-site gym and catering as well as free parking, it is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
You will have previous experience working within a finance team, ideally be part-qualified/fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA and ideally have worked in the education sector (however this is not essential).

- Oversee all financial functions, including purchase/sales/nominal ledger and credit control
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial budgets
- Support the year-end financial audit
- Supervise, mentor and develop the Finance department staff
- Systems development and process improvement
- Work closely with budget holders and senior leadership to provide financial insight
