As the Field Service Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical support to TGW's customers by leveraging expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software systems to maintain, repair, and enhance our clients equipment. You will ensure operational reliability of our equipment through planned preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, project support, and new installations across customer sites in the UK and Europe, while also providing coverage for residential site holidays and sickness.As the Field Service Engineers you will act as a TGW Ambassador and strive to foster strong client relationships through professional service delivery, often requiring extended travel and overnight stays to meet project and service demands, thereby driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

- Support the Realisation (Project) department with new installation and operational support
- Carry out installation, commissioning and testing of upgrades and enhancement work
- Provide support to all sites and projects within the TGW North Europe portfolio
- Be pro-active and consider ways in which TGW can add more value to our customer’s business
- Work in a safe manner and follow all Health & Safety requirements including RA’s, SSOW and COSHH requirements
- Achieve standards of performance relating to customer satisfaction, technical efficiency and company image
- Manage the requirements for training of customer’s staff in line with the contractual agreements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose value-adding solutions for customers
- Document service activities through professional reports, ensuring clear and actionable feedback for customers and internal stakeholders
- Provide on-demand technical support to internal teams and external customers, resolving issues efficiently
- Become part of the On-Call rota and provide emergency support to our customers
Required
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Previous experience of working in a multi-skilled engineering role within an automated environment
- Able to effectively analyse complex problems
- Ability to work away from home in the UK and Europe
- Basic proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and fault finding
- Ability to work at height and complete rescue-at-height training
- Previous experience working in a Field or Mobile Engineer role
- Experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems
