Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be a key member of our facilities and hygiene teams at the Ashby site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness to create happy snacking moments for our consumers. Your responsibilities include:

• Hand Wash Areas: Clean and replenish hand wash sinks and restock disposable cloth dispensers.
• Floor Maintenance: Operate floor scrubbing equipment and clean stairs and mat wells.
• Sanitary Facilities: Thoroughly clean toilets, locker rooms, and changing rooms.
• Team Support: Provide assistance to the hygiene, facilities, and recycling teams.
• General Duties: Perform various cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and inviting environment.

Job requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

• Possess a positive understanding of safe working practices, including a commitment to obtaining or already holding Safe Handling of Chemicals (COSHH) training.
• Exhibit excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, ensuring an efficient workload management that supports team performance
• Proven experience working independently and taking initiative, with the ability to manage tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• While experience with COSHH is beneficial, we encourage applications from candidates who are eager to learn and develop in this area.
