As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer OR Fabric Engineer to provide a building fabric maintenance and repairs service. The role sits within our facility support service and covers a diverse range of clients, industries and sectors.
You will be responsible for delivering a building fabric service such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs. Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector, or similar, with basic electrical and/or plumbing skills as you will be carrying out fabric repairs. You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates,
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
