About this Opportunity

George Browns Ltd is the UK’s largest Kubota Agriculture & Groundcare Dealer and holds many respected agricultural and groundcare franchises. As a main dealer for Kubota Agriculture, Deutz-Fahr, Kverneland, Merlo, and many more premium machinery brands, we pride ourselves on delivering industry-leading solutions backed by outstanding customer service.

We’re now seeking a passionate and driven Area Sales Manager to join our expanding Agricultural Sales Team. Based from our Daventry, Northamptonshire or Witney, Oxfordshire branches, this role covers a high-potential territory including Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, and Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a successful sales career within a professional, ambitious, and supportive team, working with cutting-edge equipment in a fast-moving and rewarding industry.

Key Tasks

  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing agricultural customers.
  • Actively promoting our market-leading brands with on-site visits, calls, and regular customer engagement across your territory.
  • Managing the full sales process — from enquiry to machine demonstration, quoting, negotiation, sale, and final delivery.
  • Offering consultative advice based on the customer’s business needs and objectives.
  • Demonstrating new and used machinery with confidence, ensuring the customer understands its value and suitability.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records through our CRM system.
  • Collaborating closely with your Sales Manager and the wider sales, parts, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

What are we looking for?

  • A proven track record in machinery sales or agricultural sales, ideally with 2+ years in a field-based role.
  • Strong knowledge of the agricultural sector, with an understanding of the challenges and needs of modern farmers.
  • A confident, self-motivated sales professional who can manage their territory independently and consistently deliver results.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage at all levels — from large farming businesses to family-run operations.
  • Commercially aware, well-organised, and experienced in managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to delivery.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.

What we Offer?

  • A competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission structure.
  • Company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
  • Access to leading agricultural machinery brands and demo units.
  • Up to 26 days holiday + bank holidays + a dedicated well-being day.
  • Long-term career development opportunities within a growing and successful family-run business.

Join the UK’s largest Kubota dealer and help shape the future of agricultural machinery sales in your region.
