As a key member of our Econometrics team, you’ll help to drive efficiency of Sky’s marketing plans through the delivery of econometric insights.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and optimise the media investment across two of Sky’s key markets (e.g. Italy & Ireland)
• Work with the Media, Marketing and Commercial teams to design the scope, deliverables and Roadmap for Econometrics support across these markets.
• Collaborate with the Econometrics team and wider Consumer Strategy team to build the reputation and applicability of the work through the whole of the Sky Group.
• Ensure statistically robust analysis is in place, providing recommendations to maximise the impact of our that division’s annual media investment, develop forecasts and supporting key commercial decisions.
• Interact with and influence decision-making of MD, Directors, Heads of Department and our media agency to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of insights.
• Work with the wider Media Effectivness Leadership team to create an environment that fosters a culture of proactive collaboration and a positive team energy.
• Lead a key initiative in our team, to drive progression in our methodology, techniques, people, business impact or development.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• A numerate degree such as Economics, Econometrics, Maths or Statistics
• Prior experience leading an econometrics team within an organisation and / or client management within an established marketing analytics provider in the industry.
• Proven experience of delivering econometric modelling specifically to make recommendations that inform Media Planning and Marketing Strategy.
• Expertise in a variety of modelling approaches, and experience in developing or evolving econometric capabilities to adapt to key business questions.
• Experience in using insight to shape and guide a business's Go To Market Marketing Strategy
• Proven understanding of scenario and optimisation methodology and tools – inputs, functions, outputs and user models
• Previous experience managing multiple Direct Reports, supporting your team’s personal and professional development.
• Excellent communication skills – be an articulate, positive, and professional communicator.
• Impeccable organisational and time management skills: ability to multitask and prioritise workload and a clear understanding of the relevant tool sets to build econometric models with knowledge of Python desirable.
